Boarding
Boarding Information – Eden Veterinary Clinic, PLLC
Eligibility:
Boarding is available exclusively for current, active clients who use Eden Veterinary Clinic as their primary veterinarian.
Clients must be established with our practice for at least one year prior to boarding eligibility.
Boarding Services:
Full-service boarding facility.
Dogs are walked 3 to 4 times daily.
Science Diet food is provided.
You may bring your own food, treats, and personal items (toys, beds, blankets).
Please note: personal items may be misplaced.
Vaccination Requirements (No Exceptions):
Pets must be up to date on the following vaccines:
DA2PP (Distemper/Parvo/Adenovirus)
Rabies
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) – must be administered at least 2 weeks prior to boarding.
If vaccines are not current, boarding is not permitted.
Vaccines must be administered by a veterinarian.
A minimum of two DA2PP vaccines given 3 weeks apart is required, with the final dose at least 2 weeks prior to boarding.
Vaccines will not be given at check-in.
Flea Prevention:
A veterinary-approved, non-generic flea preventative must be administered prior to or upon arrival.
Must be within the manufacturer's recommended duration of effectiveness.
Approved products include:
Bravecto, NexGard, Simparica, Simparica Trio, Credelio, Trifexis, Comfortis, Revolution
If not previously administered, a flea preventative will be given at the owner’s expense.
Special Holiday Cancellation Policy
Due to high demand during holidays, the following policy applies to the dates listed below:
72-hour cancellation notice is required.
A $50 fee or the full scheduled boarding amount (whichever is greater) will be charged if adequate notice is not given.

Standard Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival.
Eden Veterinary Clinic, PLLC reserves the right to charge late cancellation fees up to the full boarding amount.
Boarding for Puppies (Under 14–16 Weeks Old)
We strongly recommend against boarding very young puppies unless absolutely necessary. If boarding is essential, the following requirements must be met:
Preferably, at least two DA2PP and two Bordetella vaccines, completed at least 2 weeks before arrival.
Minimum requirement: One Bordetella vaccine given 2 weeks prior to boarding.
Rabies vaccine is mandatory for puppies over 12 weeks of age.
A negative fecal test is required.
We will do our best to limit exposure, but we cannot guarantee that a puppy will not become ill.
